Visa & Immigration — Team Console

The internal side of the visa service. Trayectomove grades the client's documents; this page covers everything after that: closing the gaps, building the submission pack, the human review gate, the submission itself, handling Cancillería's follow-up requests, and the cédula. Our promise is a defect-proof file, never a guaranteed approval.

01 · Who submits

Two legal ways to submit — and one we never do

Decreto 196/1971, Art. 35: anyone may act before an administrative authority on their own behalf, but a representative (apoderado) must be a registered lawyer.

ModelWho submitsWhen to use
(i) Guided self-submission DefaultThe client, in their own name. We prepare the pack and walk them through the portal on a screen-share.Standard package. No power of attorney.
(ii) Represented submission PremiumOur licensed lawyer partner, as apoderado, with an immigration-scoped poder (notarized; apostilled if signed abroad).Clients who want hands-off. Marketed as lawyer-handled.
✗ Agency submits as representative—Never. Illegal practice of law (ejercicio ilegal de la abogacía).
Open question for our lawyer: in Model (i), if a team member operates the portal while the client stays the applicant (no poder), is that still "preparation", or could it be read as representation? Until answered: the client clicks and pays, we guide.
02 · The pipeline

From graded file to landed visa

Five stages. Agents draft, humans decide. Tick through it per case.

03 · Launch visas

The categories we serve

Official 2026 fees (Res. 3969/2026): estudio paid at submission, beneficio paid only if approved. Reduced or zero for some nationalities (e.g. Spain pays nothing) — verify per client.

Every file, every category

Escalate to the lawyer, never self-serve: prior visa denial, criminal record, overstay history, messy investment fund trails, R-visa cases.

04 · Quick tool

Income threshold check

Thresholds are fixed in pesos. Enter today's rate and the client's lowest month.

05 · Non-negotiable

Team review gate — before any submission

A human ticks every box. One unticked box means back to gap-closing, never to the portal. Each time a human finds something Trayectomove missed, log it so the rules get fixed.

06 · Cancillería portal

The rules that sink files

Upload rules

  • PDF only, one PDF per requirement — never one big merged file.
  • 3 MB total across all files combined. Aim for 250–400 KB each.
  • Photo: colour, white background, 4×3 cm, JPG, ≤300 KB.
  • Form data must match the passport exactly.

How the portal works

  • Site: tramitesmre.cancilleria.gov.co. No account or password.
  • The client gets a solicitud number by email; that number plus matching data reopens the case.
  • Pay the estudio fee to submit; beneficio only on approval, same payment method.
  • Decision usually 5–10 business days; can run longer.

If Cancillería asks for more (requerimiento)

  • The clock pauses. This is the make-or-break moment.
  • Team alerted the same day; decode exactly what's asked.
  • Fix, re-run the review gate on the new documents, client re-submits with the solicitud number.
07 · After approval

Approval → cédula → residency clock

  1. Client pays the beneficio fee and downloads the electronic visa (PDF).
  2. Cédula de extranjería within 15 calendar days (of issuance if in Colombia, or of entry): online form + COP 294,000 + appointment, then in-person biometrics. Missing the window means fines.
  3. Brief the 180-day absence rule for M visas.
  4. Hand off: housing, banking (needs cédula), healthcare (EPS once resident; Pensionado holders go to prepagada).
  5. Set reminders: visa expiry and the residency clock, for renewal or the R-visa upgrade.
On a denial: log it, do an honest review of what happened, apply the pre-agreed goodwill policy. We sold file quality, not the outcome; denials are never hidden from approval statistics.
08 · Readiness

What we still need to run this live

Built from the project's filing pipeline and data constants (fees per Res. 3969/2026, SMMLV COP 1,750,905 held transitorily by Decreto 0159/2026, cédula per Migración Res. 0599/2026). Every figure must be re-verified against the official source before a client relies on it. Preparation and verification service — not legal advice or representation; the client submits their own application.
