How admissions work

  • Calendario A vs B: Calendario A schools start the year in Jan/Feb; Calendario B start in Aug — match the client's arrival to the calendar.
  • Apply early: the most competitive schools (Bolívar, Los Nogales, CNG, Columbus) run admissions 1–3 years ahead for entry grades; others admit by availability / rolling.
  • Expect a test + interview: most schools add a placement/diagnostic test and a family interview; some an observation day.
  • English proof: US/IB schools may require an English level from certain grades (limited ENL support).
  • Ties to the rest of setup: parents' cédula de extranjería and often an EPS proof are on the list — so the visa → cédula → EPS path feeds straight into enrolment.
